This individual helps set the tone for the entire boutique. Leadership, natural human connection, and seeing opportunities to make the guest experience the best it can be are part of that ‘special something’ we are looking for. The EG role supports the EG Lead/Supervisor and General Manager by sometimes doing special projects which may include, but are not limited to inventory tracking, various admin tasks, adhering to and ensuring brand standards including display aesthetics and cleaning standards, creative projects related to community engagement, recruiting, and marketing. However, this is a sales position with the main focus is meeting sales goals and connecting with both guests and staff. Sales have commissions and bonus above and beyond hourly rate for sales goals made.

• Must understand the basic principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
• Must be able to respond to individual guest needs and adhere to The NOW Massage standards as written in the employee handbook.
• Must have excellent communication skills, be proactive with phone calls and initiating various communications with guests and staff.
• Must be computer literate with the ability to learn various software programs/applications.
• Must know how to operate printers and various other office equipment.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be customer service focused.
• Experience with Social Media functions and willingness to contribute to aspects of social pages connected to The NOW Fremont is appreciated
• Experience with organic sales and schedule optimization or transferrable skill in these areas is required.

The work environment is an extension of the guest experience we create. We strive to create an environment you are excited to return to over and over again. We are located in a great, walkable area of Fremont, have snacks in the back, and have an amazing team of therapists and staff here.
Daily Functions:
• Continuously demonstrate all duties and responsibilities as required of the Experience Guide team.
• Oversee our front desk experience guide through training.
• Attend team meetings to ensure strong product and selling skill knowledge.
• Act as a liaison between the Experience Guides, Massage Therapists, and Leadership team.
• Communicate all updates, prepare new products/offerings, events, and protocols to the Experience Guide team.
• Ensure the facility is always clean and presentable to standards.
• Be accountable for transactional corrections and follow-up.
• Assist with group bookings and communicate directly with group inquiries.
• Create documents, reports, spreadsheets, and protocols as directed.
• Participate in retail and back-of-house inventory counts
• Assist in forecasting staff needs, related to seasons and staff retention.
• Participate in boutique supplies, retail, linen, and equipment inventory quarterly to ensure the facility is well prepared and replacement purchases are planned.
• Share suggestions, voice challenges, or any specific concerns to the Leadership Team.
• Assist General Manager with guest complaints and/or concerns.
• Collaborate with the Leadership Team during regular meetings regarding any improvements.
• Support in daily Programs operations as a Manager on Duty, especially during the evening programming hours
